COVID-19 Update:

Due to substantial transmission of the COVID-19 Delta variant, masks are required for entry at Frannie Peabody Center. We are currently operating by appointment only for all services. COVID vaccines are highly recommended for everyone to protect against infection. The CDC is recommending that individuals with moderately to severely compromised immune systems receive a booster shot. Your healthcare provider can assist with this assessment.

As a single point of entry for people affected by HIV/AIDS, Frannie Peabody Center offers client-centered services that address the unique challenges of each individual. FPC programs mirror the National HIV/AIDS Strategy, which aims to reduce new HIV infections, reduce HIV-related health disparities, and increase access to care to optimize health outcomes.


Offering comprehensive, wrap-around services to support continued engagement in care and contribute to overall health and wellness. 


HIV Case Management

Providing linkage to insurance, medical care, supportive services and community resources to support sustained health stability.


Housing Assistance 

Federally-funded housing assistance for eligible individuals living with HIV/AIDS in Maine.


Behavioral Health Counseling

Low-barrier Mental Health Counseling for individuals regardless of HIV status.


Prevention Services

Free, confidential testing for HIV, Hepatitis C,  & Syphilis, as well as help with PrEP & PEP navigation, outreach and education.
